2014 CSA Week 7 (A)

Greetings from your Michigan farmer! I can not express how excited I am to be in south Georgia enjoying spring with all of you. Spring is a season of fresh beginnings and new life. Here on the farm spring is in full swing, flowers are in boom, crops are burgeoning from the earth, and baby animals are in abundance. Take a look at this weeks photos and get a taste of our week.

Mr. Will Harris, our very own pioneer, has made it on the cover of Georgia Trend magazine! Congratulations to his family and legacy, I know that it is something we are all very proud of on the farm. Please pick up a copy of this month’s issue and see what kind of farm you are a part of.

I would like to make a shout out for last weekend’s Mushroom Workshop and Mayday Dinning experience, they were a huge success. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the events so very special.4 may day 12 13 11 16 6 2 3 8 9 10 7

Calling all CSA members: Our garden team would love to have you come visit us for an on farm dinner and tour. That being said, we need some feedback and creative support from our members. If a dinning experience sounds appealing to you and yours, please let us know. It is our hope to host an event that allows you to come and experience the farm to its fullest, and to share this experience with fellow CSA members. This would be a great chance to meet your CSA neighbors and see the local food movement up close. We would love to hear from you! If anyone out there has a special knack for party planning let us know and we can partner together to make this an occasion to remember.
